A stunning family revelation has come to light in the Deville lineage, uncovered through independent genealogical research and public records: Marion Deville, 19 (born June 6, 2006), now known as Christina Newman, has a half-sister she never knew existed.

The discovery was made by a private investigator hired for unrelated family history research. The investigator uncovered birth records and DNA matches showing that Élise Valois, 18 (born October 15, 2007), is the daughter of Jonathan Deville (1975–2018), Marion's father, from a brief affair in January 2007 with Vivienne Valois, a French art student he met during a business trip to Lyon. Jonathan was married to Isabelle Laurent (now Isabelle Deville, born 1978) at the time, and Marion was seven months old when Élise was conceived.

Jonathan never acknowledged Élise publicly. Vivienne raised her daughter alone in Lyon, giving her the surname Valois. Élise grew up believing her father was an absent American who disappeared before her birth. She moved to the United States in 2025 on a student visa to study fine arts photography near Raleigh—unaware she was living in the same state as her half-sister, who looks nearly identical.

Isabelle Deville, Marion's mother, provided a brief statement: "Jonathan confessed the affair years ago. I chose to protect Marion and never spoke of it. I never knew a child resulted."

Jonathan died in a car accident in 2018, leaving no public record of Élise. The sisters have never met, and the connection remained hidden until the recent investigation. Both girls have identical crescent-moon-shaped birthmarks on their left buttocks, a genetic anomaly.

Élise Valois has not commented on the revelation. Marion Deville, known for her involvement with a private organization, the Bound Souls, could not be contacted for a statement.
